I started writing fan fiction consistently in January 2004, and my ‘original timeline’, if it can be called that, ran until roughly June 2013, when I got totally burned out on fan fiction and took a long break. The four stories you see below are the only ones that survived during that almost decade of writing. So this is where they ended up.
THE ROOKIE CHRONICLES
This section is unique in that it is the oldest surviving work of mine still available online. This series has a lot of history, and at some point I’ll write about it. Although I do still consider it a bit of an achievement, given the sheer amount of work that went into it (almost 300,000 words across roughly 3 years), and it laid the groundwork for my Shared Halo Universe, it’s pretty rough. The writing is a lot worse than the stuff I produce now (not that it’s amazing or anything), and although I did actually go through and edit and touch up the entire series near the end of 2016, it’s still really, really rough. But if you’re a big fan of me, or a big fan of Halo, or a big fan of action-horror, and your bar is set kind of low, you might like it.
